Other Information: The Southeast Town Court is located in Putnam County, NY on Rt. 22, one point four (1.4) miles north of Interstate 84 at Exit 20. It is on the right side (approaching  northbound), ten (10) feet past a “Virginia Woods” apartment complex sign. This Court is the venue for speeding,or any traffic tickets received on the eastern portion of Interstate Route 84 as it nears Connecticut, the northern portion of Interstate Rt. 684, past North Salem’s jurisdiction, all tickets written within it’s town limits and on Route 22 north up to Patterson Town’s jurisdiction.

The Southeast Traffic Town Court is the forum for tickets tickets issued within it’s jurisdiction by the Putnam County Sherrif’s Department (PCSD), Metro North Police, New York State Troopers, NYS Park Police (NYPP), NYS Environmental Police and the local Town Police.

Parking is provided at the court but late comers may have to park in the back of the lot where it is unpaved and muddy.The courtroom is a sunny and comfortable room. There are three private toilets and a payphone and a water fountain.  Checks and credit cards are accepted and If you need time to pay your fine, the court may grant you a couple of weeks.
